About
Welcome! I am Mandalannas, an artist who embraces the use of all media as a way to explore diversity, expansion, and the boundless possibilities of creativity. I see art as a language without limits — one that allows me to weave together colour, pattern, symbol, and emotion into visual stories that invite both personal reflection and shared dialogue.
My practice is deeply inspired by traditional and artisanal art forms, colour theory and art therapy. This combination revealed to me the profound connection between art, healing, and human experience. This foundation, combined with my love for Mandala art, has shaped the way I approach creativity: not only as an aesthetic pursuit, but also as a meditative practice and a path of discovery.
"When you draw, paint, or create, do it with mindfulness. Every brushstroke is a step into the present, a meditation in action."
Tich Nhat Hanh
Over the years, I have continued to evolve, experiment, and research, always seeking new ways to express the stories and questions that shape us. I am drawn to the interplay between order and chaos, structure and spontaneity — and I often return to patterns and symbols as tools for exploring memory, identity, and emotion.
I admire artists who use their work to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary — those who create pieces that make us pause, look closer, and engage with the world in new ways. This is the same spirit I aim to bring into my own art. Each piece I create is not only an expression of my inner world, but also an invitation: an opening for the viewer to connect with deeper layers of meaning beneath the surface.
For me, art is a journey of continual growth and expansion. It is a practice of curiosity, openness, and transformation — one that I am grateful to share with you here.
"Creativity is contagious, pass it on. It is the ability to see connections where others see chaos, to dream beyond the ordinary, and to trust in imagination over convention. Without it, progress stalls, and the human spirit grows stagnant."
