Healing and Transformation
“How does one become a butterfly?
You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.”
Trina Paulus
I find myself reflecting on the complexities of healing and transformation, realizing that it involves all parts of my being - my body, mind, and soul.
I understand that nurturing one entity while the rest stays unattended won't bring the deep healing and profound transformation I am looking for. Everything is interconnected.
Each aspect holds trauma in different ways. The body communicates through pain or illness. The soul nudges with a sense that something is off and invite us to explore our talents, dreams and desires. Meanwhile, the mind can complicate matters with subconscious patterns that we may not even recognize. To break free, we must decode these patterns and reprogram ourselves.
By treating our body, mind and soul equally with love, respect and compassion, we can restore balance, allowing life force to flow and we can transform to the person we always meant to be.
While others may admire your transformation and the result, they often overlook the hard work behind it. Sometimes it is devastating but ultimately, this journey is about becoming your true self, much like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon.
